Evaluation of Heat Pumps and Electric Vehicles for the Integration of Wind Power in a Future Energy System in Denmark (2011)

Authors:

Nikolaos Alagialoglou

In this project, Nikolaos Alagialoglou has analysed how wind power can be integrated into the heat and transport sector of the future energy system of Denmark. The project evaluates heat pumps and electric vehicles as technical means for the integration of wind power. Two energy systems, a Business-as-Usual and an Alternative, referring to year 2030, are considered and the effects of introducing heat pumps and electric vehicles into these two energy systems are analysed from a technical and socio-economic perspective.
