Hey everyone, has anyone here had experience with Founder Optics telescopes? I’ve been thinking about getting one and would love to hear some reviews or opinions.

Certainly, I’d be happy to expand on your experience with the founder optics telescopes. Having personally used their 8-inch Newtonian reflector model a few months ago, I must say that I am quite impressed with its performance. The telescope not only boasts a solid build quality but also delivers exceptionally clear views of various celestial objects.

The optics are decent for the price. The reflector I have came with a parabolic mirror, which helps reduce spherical aberration. It’s not top-of-the-line, but it does a good job for visual observing and beginner astrophotography. The mount is stable enough, but for serious astrophotography, you might want to invest in a more advanced mount with better tracking capabilities.
