Sports and cardiovascular disease

I’ve been involved in sports all my conscious life. Namely, athletics. I really loved running, I ran in the morning and in the evening. However, I am not a professional athlete. But recently I had a heart attack. It sounds scary, of course, but in real life it was just a pain in the chest area. But when I came to the hospital I was diagnosed with this. Now I’m being treated. But I’m wondering if I can continue to play sports? Have there been any such cases in your life?
